L’Autre Chemin offers the emblematic route from Le Puy-en-Velay to Nasbinals!

Because we have personally spotted the route, we propose to ride as close as possible to the “Chemin” but also sometimes on small roads when it becomes too complicated for a “rider pilgrim”.

    Day 1 : Your arrival in Le Puy-en-Velay

    A nice opportunity to discover the ancient town an the European capital of Saint-James way.
    Your bikes are delivered directely at your hotel.

    Day 3 : Saugues - Aumont -Aubrac - 42km - Vertical drop +1020m

    You drive through breathtaking landscapes in Margeride and soon you leave the Haute-Loire to enter the Lozère... From the Margeride to the Aubrac.
    Discover on your route the Domaine du Sauvage, Saint-Alban Limagnole to reach Aumont-Aubrac. The "Chemin", the electric bike carries you quietly!

    Incredible Aubrac, landscapes as far as the eye can see ... Water, piles of rocks, meadows ... Everything is there!
    Then you will be picked-up in Nasbinals to reach Le Puy-en-Velay with a shuttle.

    You want to rent a bike

    • Rental of hybrid bikes with 2 panniers : + €110 / bike

    If you plan to travel with your bike, please make sure of certain points:

    If it is an electrically assisted bicycle, the battery must have a minimum power of 400 watts. Attention: the battery must be removable, if this is not the case, please contact us to check the possibilities of reception.
    It is imperative that it be in perfect working order before departure. Consider getting it checked out.
    Thank you for providing an adequate repair kit as well as a smartphone holder on the handlebars
    Our routes mix small roads and paths, your bike must be hybrid, mountain bike or gravel with suitable tires. City and road bikes are therefore to be avoided – If in doubt, call us!

    It is always pleasant to have rest and take a good shower before leaving, but also to enjoy the city of Le Puy a little more, you can opt for an extra night at the end of your stay.
